Unlimited soft drink package

Does HAL offer an unlimited soft drink package as do other mass market lines? Lines like RCI put a sticker on your Sea Pass and give you a "souvenir" plastic beverage vessel.

Not anymore. Too many people used one "sticker" to get soda for everyone in their family and friends. They would just pass it around. I observed this all the time (back in the day) ... and correctly predicted HAL would stop that package.

I see HAL offers a $25 for $50 soft drink package, this is probably what the wife and I will share. Figure each drink probably runs $2 including tip, so that gets us about 25 sodas, more than enough for the two of us, especially considering we'll bring some soft drinks on board to have in the stateroom.

Fountain sodas (which is what you get with the soda card) are $1.50 + 15% service charge, so the $25 card gets you 29 glasses.

I find the fountain soda on HAL to be flat and mostly ice. I can get 2 glasses of soda out of a can which costs $1.95 +15%.

The "mostly ice" problem is easily solved by asking for it without ice. If it comes from the gun, it's cold already and doesn't need ice in it.

Too much ice will also make a fizzy drink go flat quickly, so that will tend to solve that problem too. I've never found a "no ice" drink from the gun to be flat.
