That was supposed to say ANYONE but of course now I can't edit the thread title! Nice.

Anyway:

She left SFO under heavy guard, unusual for a cruise ship. She came in that way, too. Just about to go under the Golden Gate Bridge and she got turned around for a medical emergency. A friend of mine is piloting the tug that is beside her. I said I'd check CC...

We had an announcement of a medical during muster. Lots of CG around.

We in The Sanctuary having a cocktail. It's a nice day. I hope the medical turns out okay.

That's my friend's Crowley tractor tug. He says it is a passenger heart attack. Heading to an anchorage for medevac.

I wish I could post video here. He says he's never seen a cruise ship with so many armed guards but as I said he said it was like that coming in, too.

Looks like she is heading back to the pier? I hope this person is okay.

We went right past pier 35 and went right under the bay bridge. No idea where we're going.

So are you heading back? Looks like your sitting still at the moment. Enjoy the cruise. I love her we took our first cruise on her in Oct.

There's at least two Coast Guard gun boats (cool) starboard aft and we're moving very slowly inside the Bay Bridge. No announcements. Conspiracy theories flying from balcony to balcony LOL.

That does sound strange. I hope you get underway soon. Wanna trade? I can be there in two hours to trade spots.:D

I wonder why the heavy coast guard presence. I'm used to him sending me videos and pics on the ships he's towing and he's been doing it for 35 years- it's highly unusual for him to mention a heavy coast guard presence. He says they have their hands on the guns. Seriously- I wonder what that's about. And same thing coming in, too, which is weird. You'd think that whatever the problem was it would have been resolved. I'll let you know when she gets underway again- if I'm still up ;).

Okay. They just announced that we transferred the passenger to another boat. We're turning to head out under the Bay Bridge and then the Golden Gate Bridge.

That is good to hear and hopefully the other passenger is doing okay, we will watch you sail away. Have a great time!

Still have the armed Coast Guard escort?????

Hope the medical emergency person will be ok.

Yep. Still one CG gun boat starboard aft.

Edit: now I see three boats and there's a helicopter hovering above us.

This is what I just got:

"Progressive cardiac event. Passenger transferred to the beach by launch. Vessel heading back to the sea. Waiting to pick up crew members by launch on the way out. Pics to follow."
