twsawmill Posted April 6, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2004 Would there be any chance that there may be a fridge in a Cat. 4 Family room?
Senor Ferrari Posted April 6, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2004 There will be a cooler. It's not really a fridge, but more of a "cold box." It will keep cold drinks cold, but takes quite a while to cool down warm drinks. We usually pack a collapsible soft-sided cooler and have the room steward fill it with ice to get things cold, then transfer to the cooler. keukamom Posted April 13, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 13, 2004 Our TA gave us a medical form to fill out and they will give us a fridge. We have two infants who will need formula kept cold.
Senor Ferrari Posted April 13, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 13, 2004 Yes, the will give you an actual fridge is there is a medical need, such as insulin storage, or what's been described above.
moki'smommy Posted January 22, 2014 #6 Share Posted January 22, 2014 The Dream and Fantasy have real fridges; the Magic was supposed to get them at the dry dock, but I can't personally say whether this happened or not. The beverage coolers on the Wonder are not cold enough for medications--as above, complete the "special request" form (used to be called "medical form") to get a real fridge placed in a cabin on the Wonder. It should be there when you arrive, but if not just ask. For cold drinks, etc. just place a glass of ice in the beverage cooler. It lasts overnight and keeps things much more cold.
