I have often wondered about this, too!

 

Can you only use those cups with the Freestyle machines?? Is it still possible to get pop (from your package) from a bartender and not have to use the machine?

 

There are no soda machines on Indy. The refillable soda cups mentioned were being refilled at bars. I understand that there's only so much they can do but this seems like an easy one to help stop the spreading of germs.

 

Other policies were also very inconsistent. You could not take food out of the Windjammer but you could take anything you wanted out of the Promenade Cafe and Sorrento's. You could not make your own coffee at Windjammer but you could at the Cafe.

 

That being said, crew were constantly cleaning the ship (rails, doors, handles, tables, etc.). I was lucky enough to not get sick but the black cloud of a stomach virus hitting any minute made for worries that you definitely would rather not experience on vacation.
