Skier52?? Cabin Questions?

I have two cabins booked for our Aug. 3 sailing. They are 10048 a B2 balcony and 10050 an inside. Can you tell me about the sizes of these rooms and the balcony? I would greatly appreciate it.

AS far as my information goes the inside cabin is 140 - 150 sq. ft. and as the cabins are about 9 - 10 ft wide that willl make it about 14-16 ft long.

The balcony cabin should be 190 - 200 sq ft again 9 - 10 ft wide which makes them about 19 - 20 ft long . The balcony should be about 55 - 65 sq ft.( ~10 x 6)

If anybody thinks those dimensions are wrong I'm sure they'll chip in

My info comes from the MSC 2009/2010 brochure where the inside cabins on Splendida are quoted as 14sq. metres and balcony cabins as 19 sq metres.

This is backed up by deck plans from various web sites

10048 is 191 sq ft and 10050 is 138 sq ft if you want a bigger inside you need a room for 4 and those are 169 sq ft. 10038 & 10046 are 169 sq ft.

In case you wanted it broken down further:

Cabin 10048 - Cabin Interior 191.8 sq ft (24.2 sq ft bathroom + 167.6 sq ft living space). Balcony is 42.0 sq ft. This cabin should have a double sofa bed.

And not trying to counteract riclop but the inside cabins on Deck 11 are 138 sq ft. Yours is the same size as the cabins that hold four on Deck 10.

Cabin 10050 - Cabin Interior 169.1 sq ft (24.2 sq ft bathroom + 144.9 sq ft living space).

I do have a listing of EVERY cabin onboard the Divina (actually two different ones) that were correct when she came over. Things may have changed since, though not probable. Unfortunately, mine only give square footage not dimensions. Pete (Skier52) does a much better job on that. :p

Hope this helps!

How about 10128 wheel chair accessible?

Here you go...

Cabin 10128 - Cabin Interior 283.3 sq ft (38.6 sq ft bathroom + 244.7 sq ft living space). Balcony is 61.4 sq ft. This cabin should have a double sofa bed. The door width is 24" and is listed as handicap accessible.

Hope this helps!

Some cabins that hold 4 can be 167 sq ft. Just depends on the individual cabin.

For yours.....

Cabin 11149 - Cabin Interior 167.9 sq ft (24.2 sq ft bathroom + 143.7 sq ft living space).

Great info cruiseguyinorl.

Would you have some info for Preziosa cabins? 10054?

Thank you.

The cabin should be 240 square feet (total square footage including living space and bathrom) and be 13 - 14 ft wide and 17 - 18 ft long. the bathroom, assuming the floor plan is to scale should be 35 - 40 sq ft.

Floor plan

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but since the experts are here...

Could you give me info on cabin 10012?

Thanks much!

This cabin should be the same as 10048 mentioned in post #5 above by cruiseguyinorl

Cabin Interior 191.8 sq ft (24.2 sq ft bathroom + 167.6 sq ft living space). Balcony is 42.0 sq ft. This cabin should have a double sofa bed.

Skier52,

Last night I was able to change my reservation from the quad balcony to two interiors. The new cabins are 10027 and 10031. Can you tell me about them???

Hi Pete,

I wonder if you could help me re cabin 13139 on Preziosa. I see from the deck plans that it's shorter than other balcony cabins due to the inclusion of interior cabins opposite. I also see that the area directly opposite this particular cabin is blank. Would you know if this is a service area?

Read lots of your posts, great info. Can I ask if you have dimensions or any other info for cabin 15026 and 15022. Relatively new to cruising and in particular MSC. Just joined CC and the information on here is fabulous. Thanks.
