Glory VS Splendor

If you had to choose between the Glory and the Splendor, which would you choose and why? :)

Been on both ships....the Splendor is a little bit too pink, the decorating on the Glory is much nicer. Both ships are similar (Splendor is a little bit bigger and has a covered lido pool).

Glory has Funship 2.0 and America Table/American Feast. Splendor currently has neither (mostly, I think).

I would definitely choose Splendor. Glory has Playlist, which is a major negative, and I don't like the sound of those new menus (if they got that).

2 big reasons for us to choose the Splendor are the Cloud 9 Spa and the design of the Lido pool deck with its retractable roof.

I'm led to believe that Splendor's interior decor is quite awful.

We were on the Glory in November and loved it! The Glory has the 2.0 upgrades, though I will agree the entertainment is a little subpar in comparison to other cruises we were on. Also, the Glory does have a pool on the Lido aft with the retractable roof!

I think the decor of the splendor is quite overblown. yes its pink - but its not like its florescent pink all over. after the first day you just get used to it.

 

i sailed the glory and found the staff to be unimpressive, bored and generally lackluster.

 

splendor pluses - the retractable roof on the lido, cloud 9 spa, indoor hot tubs on the lido, only one in its class...you cant experience it anywhere else.

I don't think you can judge a ship by it's crew. The very next year the crew is totally different. They all bounce around to different ships.

I agree, but its what I had as a negative on my trip there. the ship itself is nice, but overall unremarkable.
