Uk Straighteners on Allure

Hey all,

Has anyone had any issues with their GHDs or other straighteners working on board the Allure?

We sail today and I'm worried it won't work.

 

Hope someone can help me out ASAP

I'm sure the Allure, like all other ships, has at least one 220V socket. However, you will need a travel adaptor for it, as it will be 2 pin (like on the continent).

Yeah I have a travel adapter ! So as long as I have that there should be no issue with the voltage ?

No, should be fine. My wife has no problems with her hair dryer.

Cabins have US and European sockets, the power is better if u use the European one :) Enjoy your cruise!!

I have used my GHD's 3 times on Allure using an adaptor and had no problems at all!

I thought the European plugs were absolutely excellent ! Lol took me a night or two to locate the one in our cabin, then had to find another when we got moved to another cabin on the 3rd day.

BUT when I discovered them I saw a huge difference in my hair.

Also nice to see that even the ship relies on European plugs in the hallway... My own opinion is that there is far more power for cleaning :-)
