using OBC for specialty restaurants

Recommended Posts

We are sailing on the Breakaway next week to Bermuda. We would like to use some of our OBC in the specialty restaurants. When we get on the ship and make reservations, do we need to notify them that we are using OBC or do they just apply the charge to our account? Would it automatically be deducted from our onboard account when we get the final bill?

No problem whatsoever. The restaurant charge will automatically be deducted from your OBC. Actually, the charge will simply be listed as a debit; your OBC will be listed as a credit. Assuming you have enough OBC, the OBC will offset the debit charge.

You won't need to tell them that you are using your OBC. They will simply apply the charges to your onboard account. The various charges you make, along with your OBC will be reflected in your final bill.
