Sorry of this is a dumb question.

 

With the ones where you get something for free ... buy a coffee get one free ... do you have to have the free one straight away/that day, or will the next one have a zero charge next time you attempt to buy one??

 

Think I just answered my own question in my head, but gonna check with you guys anyway.

That's usually the case. However, it would not hurt to ask when you order. Could be that a particular ship does things differently.

It's the same with the photos. To get 50% off the second one, we had to buy them both at the same time.

In the case of beverages, you can pay for both at the same time (well, pay for one and use the coupon) and ask that they hold the second drink until you're ready for it. This is good if you're planning on enjoying two glasses of wine by yourself while you're at a particular bar/lounge. I suppose it'd even work in a restaurant, although I didn't try it there.
