Lloyd555 Posted May 18, 2016 Author #2527 Share Posted May 18, 2016 (edited) Ultimate Abyss there in writing only. No outline of it on sign. The same goes for the Perfect Storm. Edited May 18, 2016 by Lloyd555

racerxspeedy Posted May 19, 2016 #2529 Share Posted May 19, 2016 Thanks for all the links to new pictures - I finally found a picture of what I believe is a std balcony room. Configuration with the bed away from the balcony.
Pipo Posted May 19, 2016 #2530 Share Posted May 19, 2016 Are the bathrooms actually smaller, or is it a visual effect?
jules815 Posted May 19, 2016 #2531 Share Posted May 19, 2016 The coffee maker, in what looks like an owner's suite, is different. Wonder if the GS will have same? Sure would be nice! ☺ Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
racerxspeedy Posted May 19, 2016 #2532 Share Posted May 19, 2016 Are the bathrooms actually smaller, or is it a visual effect? The bathroom should be similar to the Quantum class. Appears to be roughly the same size but has a new layout. No complaints that I have seen.

onecoolchic Posted May 19, 2016 #2538 Share Posted May 19, 2016 Thanks for the pics!!! Do you by chance know if they are going to replace the tables with the larger ones like those on the Oasis and Allure? I notice the larger tables are on the Central Park and Boardwalk balconies. karmacats Posted May 19, 2016 #2539 Share Posted May 19, 2016 I thought I'd bring up the questions about the plants with Tom Brownlee, a landscape Specialist at Royal Caribbean who's done some work on the Oasis, Allure and now the Harmony Central Park. . Awesome. Thank you for the info! We will be on the TA and were hoping central park would have its plants. We're on allure now and have been spending a lot of time in the park. Incidentally, when we boarded allure on 5/15, the gal in charge of our muster drill said "welcome to the largest cruise ship in the world" and we realized we'd be among the last to hear that on allure. :D

onecoolchic Posted May 19, 2016 #2541 Share Posted May 19, 2016 Hi John and LaLa! I didn't take it that way at all, as it is a very valid question. I've been on the sister ships and it was really nice to bring breakfast, lunch and or dinner to our cabin and partake of the food on the balcony, and the larger and higher tables were very efficient and quite comfortable to eat at might I add. I saw in some of the photos where the higher tables were on the interior balconies and I thought maybe they'd keep with that tradition.

These are the larger tables that you speak of. I wonder why they went with smaller tables on the other balconies?

FloridaPalms Posted May 19, 2016 #2544 Share Posted May 19, 2016 Agreed, close up she is not as aesthetically pleasing as her sisters but go wide angle and she is as pretty or prettier cuz she's shiny and new☺ And she has that "new ship smell". Ahh... :D I wonder why they went with smaller tables on the other balconies? Small table works better with loungers. Don't know what your odds are in bribing room steward to get a lounger, but it looks like the small table balconies come with foot rests while the large table neighborhood balconies do not. I just hope the neighborhood balcony chairs have reclining backs. Can't be 100% positive from the picture. I know our Navigator deck 12 ocean view balcony had the new furniture with a really nice large table but our chairs didn't recline at all. ~ Judy

cb8 Posted May 19, 2016 #2548 Share Posted May 19, 2016 On the Disney boards, when they talk about ships like Harmony, they say about how boxy they look, like container ships, just for people. They say that the Disney ships have the sweep of classic ocean liners. Well... I will reserve judgement until after I sail on her... But 3000 people and split embarkation ports... I wonder how they are gonna do the lifeboat drills? Am I going to have to do two of them? Christ. If those people show me a container ship that looks like Harmony , Allure and oasis then I will eat my hat.

I'm not a fan, it doesn't seem appropriate for the Caribbean. I like the warmer colors on Allure.
