Premier casino rate question

Recommended Posts

I read on another thread that when you book under the premier casino rate that both people booked in the room get the cash. Has anyone received this before. We both got an offer and just wondering. Should we book in separate rooms? Hard to believe both get cash.. Also, what are the other freebies? I read dinner in the steakhouse. Is that always, or do the perks change up depending on your offer code.

This was our first time to receive this offer. My PVP said that if you don't take it, the offers may not keep coming. Any truth to this. She did highly recommend we go as there are extras on board.

We have booked many Premier Casino Cruises. Really enjoy them, so do your best to book. If you both received the same offer, you book one room and each receive the cash.

There is a welcome party, gift each night in our stateroom, cash drawing each night, slot tournament depending on length of the cruise, drawing for a free cruise on the last night and drinks on us card for the entire cruise.

Our next is the Freedom on June 30.

Hope this works out for you

Shirley

Last Halloween I got the Premier Casino Offer and my sister didn't. We booked the cruise and she got all the perks that I got, including $250 casino cash for each of us.

When the offers came out in January, she got the offer but I didn't. The dates didn't work for this spring so we didn't book.

When the latest offers came out we both received the mailing and booked for the August sailing on the Magic. However, my rate code was different than hers, so I get $500 casino cash and she only gets $300.

We went ahead and booked on the magic for august. Didn't want to pass it up. See you there.

You will absolutely have the time of your life. I just took one on The Legend and in my 30 years of gambling I have never been treated so well. I am a low roller and we were treated like whales.

By all means do not miss the welcome reception. We almost passed and I am so glad we didn't.

We got the casino cash in the form of Ben Franklins and after the first hour in the casino everyone knew our names, including the bar waiters.

Like I said you will believe how you are treated, the really roll out the red carpet for you. If you reach 5000 points you will be given a letter for a free cruise on you last day.

Are these offers free or discounted offers? I received an offer for a free cruise on carnival from a land based casino in AC. Does that come with drink card or any other perks?

That is a separate offer. The Premier Casino Cruise offer is from Carnival Players Club.

We have booked these land-based offers for free cabins with both CCL and NCL. (did the Breakaway last summer, Gem and Epic upcoming with free cruise certificates) Both CCL and NCL have given us the free drink card upon boarding. These are NOT the same as the Premier Casino cruises on CCL. (which we have also done). It did give us priority boarding, but not much else. (no cash on our offers - just free cabins/drink cards)

That is not always the case.........I've reached over 5000 points on my last 2 cruises and the most that I ever got was a 25% off offer and only when I didn't already have a future cruise booked.........What the 5000 points has gotten me every time was the "On Us" card as part of my future perks.

so how are points accumulated on carnival? I typically play about $50 a hand blackjack for several hours and $50 craps w/ max odds....if i did that 3-4 hours a day on sea days would that be enough to get offers? just trying to see how good they are and what they consider "good" to give out offers...

thanks

If you are playing table games you have to have the pit boss do something. Points are only accumulated playing slot machines.

Your level of play even at the table games should result in various perks while you are on the ship as well as future offers based on your past play.

See Janey, that is the one big problem I have with Carnivals Players Club, there seems to be a lot of misinformation given out by them.

On another note I am most appreciative of anything they do for my wife and myself but it is frustrating trying to get good information out of them, especially when it comes to how they rate players.

I will say they are the only casino I have ever heard of that takes into account whether you won or lost when it comes to comps for table players.

For now life is good and the offers seem to keep coming in but to be honest if they dry up I will be trying NCL.

I have to agree, the whole process is frustrating.

I'm kind of done chasing points. On a regular cruise my comps have been really low less than $100 cash and maybe the on us card.......

But even the drink card is frustrating, it's not unusual for it to take 20+ minutes to receive a drink and that's after waiting 10+ minutes for a bar waiter to come by.

I have never had that experience. In fact, the waiters come by every 5-10 minutes to offer a drink - even when I have a full glass in front of me! And the drink is delivered within 5 minutes. Of course, they always know that there is a dollar bill "attached" to the receipt I sign when I hand it back!:p:D

So far, I must say that DW and I have never had this problem. The only time we have had slow service in the casino is usually between 11am-noon.

See that's my point. I always tip $1 for every drink I order and if I've hit a bigger payout I might even write in a $5. But more often than not until late at night the drink service for me is really slow.

I kind of understand when it's during dinner service and a lot of the bar waiters are working in the dining rooms, but after about 9:30 there should be plenty.

I think I'm going to start going back to the shows and not head into the casino until after 10pm.

I have a lot better luck though when I've made friends with one of the casino hosts/hostesses that are working the floor, they usually make sure that I'm really taken care of.......but unfortunately they also want to stand there and talk with me and I don't like that when I'm at a machine.....

When we sailed in August I got the cash, my husband did not. Although he shared in everything else along with free drinks for the week in the casino. When the offer came in the mail, it was addressed to me only so it was my offer to get the cash.

Same for me and DW on our Glory cruise in 2 weeks. Offer sent to me, I get the cash, she doesn't.

You will love the gifts you get every day in your cabin, the daily drawings/raffles in the casino, the bottles of wine/champagne.

Happy sailing!

How about it. Every night when you come back to your room it is like Christmas and the tournaments were a blast. The cookies made for a great snack along with RS milk before bedtime.

We jumped in our pool the other day and my wife said why don't you use the Players Club towels. I said because they are too nice to use :>)
