Grand Turk beach questions

We will visit Grand Turk with Carnival in a couple of weeks. Never been there before. I have read that there is a beach at the pier. Is that a public beach or is it part of Margaritaville? Are the lounge chairs really free or only free if you are ordering drinks? Is it a clean beach?

The beaches are public. Beach chairs in the cruise complex section are free.

The HUGE pool and the chairs at Margaritaville are free and you don't have buy drinks or food to use them.

The beach is clean.

Have a great time in Grand Turk! :)

Haven't been in awhile, but I did go to the beach right near the pier- You could see the ship. Very pretty. Just wanted to tell you that you should be sure to bring beach shoes!

Yes, do bring water shoes. Nice beach ... but in the water, it is rocky.

Didn't need water shoes to the left. Walked the very short stroll along the beach to Jacks Shack found local beers for $4 each. About halfway between the beach next to the dock and Jacks Shack we found an unnamed place selling very cold local beers for $3 each and a guy selling conch shells and coconut drinks for $8. He cuts open the coconut, you drink some of the coconut milk then he refills the coconut with dark rum making a delicious coconut milk/rum drink.
