harvestmoone Posted May 26, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 26, 2014 I see that the cruise line rents floats for $14. When on Carnival I've always brought a cheap Walmart inflatable from home. It takes 3 or 4 minutes to blow up. When we're done, I deflate it and back it goes into my beach bag for the next time. Does anyone know if I can do the same for this trip? Please no comments about my "frugal" nature...this girl loves to save money.
Clarea Posted May 26, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 26, 2014 You can bring your own floatation device.

Rare DragonOfTheSeas Posted May 26, 2014 #4 Share Posted May 26, 2014 I saw a family doing this at Labadee the last time we were there.
OCruisers Posted May 26, 2014 #5 Share Posted May 26, 2014 You certainly can bring your own if you wish. You won't be the only one. If you should want to rent a float, you don't have to book the floats in advance. There's a place to do it once at CoCo Cay. LuLu
dappledumpling Posted May 26, 2014 #6 Share Posted May 26, 2014 No issues with bringing your own... we have done that on our last couple of cruises. Enjoy
cruisegirl1 Posted May 26, 2014 #7 Share Posted May 26, 2014 Yes, you may bring your own float. They will have no apparatus for inflation so I hope you are "full of hot air" :):). It is funny, take a look at Royal Caribbean main page and you'll see a couple in the waves using what appears to be a blowout float Enjoy M

At least, I had this happen. :)
