Hi all - just back from our cruise yesterday so I will give a quick review and answer any questions. Travelled with my mom and daughter on a free cruise that my mom got from the casino - although we upgraded our room to an oceanview - aside from getting ready for dinner not too bad with 3 in the room - you are hardly there. We had amazing weather - not one drop of rain in 8 days and the ports are great. We went to Puerto Rico, St. Thomas (put me at Maegan's Bay anytime and the world is right) and my first time at Grand Turk (which we loved - went straight to Margarettesville and right into the pool - we wanted to rent a cabana but they were not available - however glad they weren't - it was 129.99 and we weren't there too many hours and we never got out of the pool. Dining was ok - typical however I would check when you get on board to see if you got what you wanted ( we requested a table for 3 - we were on a table for 12 - went to straighten it out and was told no problem it would be taken care of by the next afternoon only to receive a note saying sorry can't do - after a bit of a fuss they changed our table put still annoying. We ate in the Steakhouse one night - worth every penny - wish I went twice. Mom is platinum so we loved the perks, especially the 3 bags of laundry - hardly had any dirty clothes to bring home. Casino staff was excellent - waiters were always there paying attention - wasn't impressed with the casino host though. All in all a fun vacation came back and hubby had a promotion from his casino offers - pay $100.00 and get a $100. on board credit - upgraded to a balcony for 80 bucks extra each so we are going 8/20 -

The casino host was AnnaMaria - I did not find her friendly or personable at all - her assistant was sweet, however the rest of the casino staff were great - slot attendants were really friendly - took the time to sit and talk with you and the bar waiters were amazing - all great, they knew your name and folio number and were always there for you (probably helped that I gave them $1.00 every time I had a drink, lol)
