Thanks for your wonderful review and pictures! We are from Kent, WA too and will be doing a similar cruise on the Noordam for 37 days from Rome to Eastern Med and the Western Med and then transatlantic. Looking forward to seeing some of the places you wrote about!

BTW if you haven't used the memory card again since you deleted the pictures of Venice they will be recoverable using free software you can down load from the web. This is because when you delete pictures they are not actually delete but only the index to them is deleted, the pictures remain. Unfortunately if you have reused the card some or all of the pictures may have been written over.
