ekatiel Posted June 21, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2014 Can anyone tell me how this works? Considering trying to transfer our Thanksgiving Allure cruise to a TA (in order to get whatever perks they may offer) before I make final payment. We booked online during the KSF promo-- our pricing will stay the same, right? TIA!

I was told that they now have eliminated your transferring your booking unless you do it within sixty days of booking. Plus, they now request you to sign and complete a form and fax it back to them. In other words, not easy to do. Trish
megr1125 Posted June 21, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 21, 2014 (edited) Yes, but you only have 60 days from booking to do so... It is not difficult, but it takes a few days, or more to get the transfer done.. Edited June 21, 2014 by megr1125

ekatiel Posted June 21, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted June 21, 2014 Thanks for the replies. I think I'm past the sixty day window, though.

FlaIce Posted June 22, 2014 #7 Share Posted June 22, 2014 I booked onboard last month directly with RC for a 2015 cruise, would transferring to a TA now increase my deposit required?

It should not unless the TA has a group booking on that sailing. I believe if that is the case you might need to pay the full deposit. Is that right Bob? EDIT I thought as much!! :) Edited June 22, 2014 by molly361
Clarea Posted June 22, 2014 #9 Share Posted June 22, 2014 (edited) I booked onboard last month directly with RC for a 2015 cruise, would transferring to a TA now increase my deposit required? Not usually. However, if the TA is putting your booking into a group, and you had originally paid a reduced deposit, then the TA might ask for full deposit. EDIT: Bathroom.
