Pre Cruise Hotel/B & B in Rome

We are a group of 7 that will be taking a cruise leaving from Rome. Any suggestions for Bed and Breakfasts or Hotels that you liked? We plan to stay one to two nights prior to the cruise departing.

We have stayed in 2 of their places - a View of Rome and a Peace of Rome and would highly recommend them. We first chose them via excellent Trip Advisor reviews, which have continued. Take a look to see what I mean

 

All 3 are located close to the Vatican area but with proximity to Metro stations and many local facilities.

 

They only have a few rooms at each place so 7 of you would possibly take over the place for your stay there.

Check out the reviews on Tripadvisor. It's a converted monastery, and the rooms open onto an orange tree courtyard, where you can eat a fabulous breakfast complete with fresh cappuccino! A big plus for our visit in August -- the air conditioning works really well, if you want it to.

Look at http://www.venere.com or tripadvisor.com where you can use the map to drill down on specific areas of interest, and indicate your budget, beds, etc.

Develop a short list of hotels that seem well located and suit your needs then ask for feedback.
