hardcore1 Posted June 24, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 24, 2014 We have booked an inside cabin on a Princess Cruise around the far east - departing at the end of September. The cabin we have been allocated is midships (which I presume is good) but it appears to back onto the passenger laundry room. Does anyone know if we should be concerned about this (noise etc)? Thank you

Bonnie J. Posted June 25, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 25, 2014 Thought laundry rooms are open all the time- never saw a sign saying they weren't. However, a washer & dryer don't make much noise so you shouldn't hear a thing! I really don't even hear them when in room with them going!
jammen Posted June 26, 2014 #5 Share Posted June 26, 2014 I have been up early & was conscious to notice the noise. It was very quiet.
aquilegia Posted June 26, 2014 #6 Share Posted June 26, 2014 The laundry rooms shut around 10pm each night.
DonnaK Posted June 26, 2014 #7 Share Posted June 26, 2014 Our friends had a cabin next to the laundry room on the Caribbean Princess - no noise at all.
Oak Hill Cruisers Posted June 26, 2014 #8 Share Posted June 26, 2014 Better next to a laundry room rather than next to teenagers on Spring break. ;)
