Inside Cabins

We have booked an inside cabin on a Princess Cruise around the far east - departing at the end of September. The cabin we have been allocated is midships (which I presume is good) but it appears to back onto the passenger laundry room. Does anyone know if we should be concerned about this (noise etc)? Thank you

Thought laundry rooms are open all the time- never saw a sign saying they weren't. However, a washer & dryer don't make much noise so you shouldn't hear a thing! I really don't even hear them when in room with them going!

I have been up early & was conscious to notice the noise. It was very quiet.

The laundry rooms shut around 10pm each night.

Our friends had a cabin next to the laundry room on the Caribbean Princess - no noise at all.

Better next to a laundry room rather than next to teenagers on Spring break. ;)

I would not want a cabin next to the laundry room.
