Casino when docked in Bermuda

Are the casinos open when the ship is docked in Bermuda?

Unless anything has changed in the last year(the last time I was on the Summit), the casino(and all shops, including Duty Free)remain closed when the ship is docked at King's Wharf. They reopen about an hour or so after leaving port to sail back to Bayonne.

Yes, the casino is open in port when the Summit is docked in Bermuda. It opens at 9PM. I liked it better when they were closed, kept me out of trouble! : )

What a surprise! I knew there was a push to open the casino while docked, but never followed up on how it went. Thank you for correction!

As Antsnanny said, it opens at 9pm and is open until 5am in the morning, each day you're docked in Bermuda. They often had 2x or 5x slot point times late at night on those nights.

This is good to know. The closed casino has kept us from a cruise to Bermuda.

The open casino while docked in Bermuda is new this year. I'm looking forward to this. It was closed the past two years and this should be a nice change. Would love X times the points.

Having the Casino closed was a HUGE issue to the cruise lines, and Bermuda had to find some middle ground to keep attracting the ships. The amount of lost revenue for the cruise line made it difficult to get the amount of revenue needed to make a profit.
