Can someone else pay for my drink package?

We have 3 cabins booked for a cruise leaving this weekend, and my in laws would like to pay for everyone's drink packages. We are past the time that we can add them online. Once onboard, can they charge all of the drink packages to one room, or can they only add it to the account the card is linked to? Has anyone done this in the past? Thanks! :)

I don't know if the bar servers can charge all the drink packages to one card.

 

If the bar servers cannot do what you ask, then your inlaws can go to Guest Services after the purchase and have them move the charges.

Honestly, I don't see why they wouldn't see a reason why they couldn't. If someone wants to buy multiple drink packages I think they would be thrilled. They will have a table set up when you board to purchase the packages. On Oasis the bartender couldn't do this and I was told to go to another venue to purchase.

Are your reservations linked together? That could help just in case there is an issue....

You could also call RCCL and ask as well.

Thanks for the responses. Our reservations are linked, so hopefully that will help. I will keep a look out for the beverage package table when we get to the port.

Our kids were in a separate cabin from us, but I put their drink packages and my wife's all on my card.

 

This wasn't at a bar, but at a table outside the windjammer.

Of course they can! They can do it in advance, or on the ship!

We are just off the Liberty and my parents paid for our daughters' Royal Replenish package but we had them on our SeaPass account.
