Saturday night in Anchorage- suggestions?

Since we'll be there on a Saturday, I was hoping someone might have suggestions for live music. Other suggestions?

Lots of live music on a Sat.....depends on what kind of music you like, how loud, dancing, your age....when you get into town, pick up a copy of The Press....it comes out on Thursday and it is free...has every venue that is going on for the week...

We'll be staying at the Hilton on 500 W. Third. Where can we find "The Press"? Does it have an online source?

 

As for music, we're mostly jazz fans, but might consider country also.

you might have more luck by posting to tripadvisor ..... there are quite a few Anchorage locals on the Alaska forum.
