I am travelling with a sushi addict, and being from the the west coast of Canada we are serious about our sushi. Can someone tell me if it is available onboard, for both lunch and dinner at the buffet, and the quality? Thanks.

They serve it at about 5.00 or 5.30 for about an hour or two??? I am also from Vancouver where we are spoiled for sushi. If you go in with lowered expectations it is "ok." I'll usually have a few pieces, though.

It really varies by ship and cruise. We've he some cruises with a good variety of fish and freshly made rolls...and others with the opposite. The quality of ingredients is pretty good. Unfortunately, the one constant seems to be badly cooked, unseasoned rice..but I eat the fish, leave the rice...except for rolls of course. I generally get a sushi snack before dinner at least twice a cruise.
