Room Upgrade after On Line Check In

Recommended Posts

For Our Aug 03 2014 FOS, I had already completed my On line check-in 2 weeks ago and yesterday there was a price drop for Guarantee Ocean view stateroom,

so we upgraded from Interior stateroom to Guarantee Ocean view stateroom.

We are sailing in 25 days, When would I know our stateroom number ?

I need this stateroom number to print my luggage tags?

I tried to do on line check in again, All it shows is GTY category , but no stateroom...

Have anyone experienced this before ?

You could know your stateroom number anytime between now and when you arrive at the pier.

The easiest thing to do is have the porters create luggage tags for you at the pier. They will know your stateroom number.

Just keep checking online for your cabin number. Once you have one you can get your cruise docs re-issued and then print new tags out.

Or you can just get them at the pier like Bob said above.

I did not know that you could get your cruise docs re-issued, thanks.

Sometimes they will re-issue them automatically but most times you have to call whomever you booked thru.

The Set Sail updates but not the cruise docs.

Hi Pedro,

Looking forward to sailing with you on the FOS in a few weeks. I switched my reservation to a balcony guarantee on June 14, and a cabin was assigned on June 23.

I was not crazy about the far forward location of the cabin assigned, so I called my TA and asked to be changed to a more midships cabin in the same category. (Although they at first told me that this could not be done.)

Good luck!
