beannie Posted July 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2014 On which deck is the best walking area? You know, the one to work off the pounds on. I've read maybe deck 7 and maybe 16? Thanks in advance for any replies. Sent from my iPad using Forums
CruiserBruce Posted July 12, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 12, 2014 Far better to be researching this on the Princess board.

OCruisers Posted July 12, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 12, 2014 Hi "Beannie"! Deck 7 is the official Promenade Deck but it doesn't go all the way around. When you get toward the front, you have to climb some stairs to continue around the bow on Deck 8 Emerald Deck. Good exercise -- walking and climbing stairs. You would probably enjoy doing some walking around on Deck 16 since it's quite likely you would be up there from time to time. ;).. ;) We were on Crown in January and loved the ship! Rare TracieABD Posted July 12, 2014 #5 Share Posted July 12, 2014 With the jogging track on Deck 16, 9 laps = a mile. It can be hard on your knees as it puts you at a bit of a cant. I found myself reversing direction each mile. If you are at sea, it can be a little mind-numbing. But is was wonderful when cruising through the fjords!
