beachnut41955 Posted July 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 23, 2014 (edited) I thank everyone who kindly responded to my question yesterday and I have another today. Again, since it has been several years since sailing NCL and my last few have been on Princess I cannot remember these things. I know with Princess you list your flight information so that they know when to expect you for your transfers. On the check in info for NCL I do not see anywhere to list your flight info. When you have a transfer from the airport to the ship do they have people there all the time and you just go find them? What is the process? Thanks so much for your help! We will be flying into Miami. Edited July 23, 2014 by beachnut41955
Rare mizLORInj Posted July 23, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 23, 2014 You booked your transfer to the ship with NCL? There will be reps in the airport with signs. Note that you can also take a taxi for about $30 with tip (per taxi, not per person) and it is much quicker since you don't wait for a bus to fill up. garycarla Posted July 23, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 23, 2014 As mentioned, cabs are usually less expensive and less hassle. By the way, in future posts, try to make the TITLE more descriptive. Like " Transfers from NY Airport to Getaway?" for example.

You meet the NCL representative down in the baggage claim area right next to the carousels. It worked fine for me because I was single and only had to lug one bag. There was some walking involved to get to where the bus was. If I was with a family or a group I would just take the taxi. Easier, faster and not expensive. beachnut41955 Posted July 23, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted July 23, 2014 Thank you everyone. Hopefully that will be my last "dumb" question. I will try to be more descriptive in my title in the future.
garycarla Posted July 23, 2014 #7 Share Posted July 23, 2014 Thank you everyone. Hopefully that will be my last "dumb" question. I will try to be more descriptive in my title in the future. Question was not dumb at all. Common and understandable. Only thing dumb was my mixing up GA with BA. In any event, cab in Miami is way easier than dealing with the bus and waiting for people. And cheaper.
