Mary Ann 2 Posted July 28, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 28, 2014 Love the covered balconies on Emerald, but get as far away from the entertainment venues as possible. Last cruise with an Emerald balcony we had quite a few nights that we couldn't go to bed until late due to late entertainment under us. Generally didn't bother us as we usually are up late, but the last night when we had to get up early the next day, we weren't too happy to be kept up so late. Pam in CA Posted July 28, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 28, 2014 IMHO, Emerald. FYI, the only cabins on Emerald deck that are affected by entertainment are the furthest 2-3 cabins on the port side. Otherwise, very quiet and private plus you're protected from the weather.
satxdiver Posted July 28, 2014 #5 Share Posted July 28, 2014 Dolphin with staterooms below and above you and a choice of aft, mid and forward cabins.

SULLJO Posted July 28, 2014 Author #7 Share Posted July 28, 2014 Can anyone confirm E731 has four chairs vs. Two chairs and two lounges. Sent from my LG-VS450PP using Forums mobile app
Caribensun Posted July 28, 2014 #8 Share Posted July 28, 2014 E731-"Mini Suite" has 2 chairs and 2 footstools and a small white table as do all other balcony and mini suite rooms. You are thinking of a "Full Suite" with more chairs and loungers. You will not be disappointed with the balcony, enjoy! Seadeck2
f-mattox Posted July 28, 2014 #9 Share Posted July 28, 2014 You will love the extended balcony; that is my favorite stateroom on any of the Grand Class ships.
