tamara01 Posted August 1, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 1, 2014 Can you change your cabin # if it stays in your same category? We would prefer to be more midship, and it is the same category just about 20 cabins closer to mid ship. Also, does RCCL give upgrades for Diamond members - like one CAT upgrade - I know Celebrity does this, just not sure about RCCL. Thanks.

BND Posted August 1, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 1, 2014 And, no to the cabin upgrade for D. We just get larger balcony discounts.

Changing cabin #'s is very easy to do...I just did it recently directly with RCI (no TA involved in my bookings) and it was done while I was on the phone with them and an email verification sent pretty much before I even got off the phone..When I'm not completely happy with my location I watch daily for any opportunity to make a change. And if it's in the middle of the night and I can't get in touch with RCI I easily put a 24 hour courtesy hold on it and call when they open...I have also done this when an upgrade to a certain catagory cabin became available (like OV to FOV for less than the required minimum # of occupants and at what I knew was the same rate as their OV)...This worked out well for us recently on an Alaska cruise with my extended family...two adults and a child in this great large cabin.
