The Grand Princess just did a U-turn back to Seattle

My daughter who works for one of the local TV stations said the Grand was returning to Seattle because of a mechanical issue.

Also the NCL Pearl had to return to Seattle for a medical emergency. However they did not re-dock, just came into Elliott Bay and evacuated the passenger by boat.

Not a good day for those leaving Seattle today!

Assuming that all other systems are working, I prescribe for the passengers a few stiff drinks and a thick steak. Worse things could happen.

Seriously, we have plans to board the Grand next Sunday so please keep us posted on events. Thanks.

Seattle Times claims the Grand was towed back to the pier, is there any truth to that? It appeared she headed back under her own power.

Anyone see tugs? Glad things appear to be fixed.

There is no indication of that on the Marine Traffic vessel track. Looks like she might have been back in port for around three hours.
