Does any recent Caribbean Princess cruisers know which port she docks in Cozumel?

 

99% of the time its......

Puerto Maya, 3 miles south of town.

Two weeks ago...Puerta Maya...$8 taxi ride into town.

In July we docked at Punta Langosta. 99% of the time it is Puerta Maya.

The Puerta Maya deal is similar to Crown Bay, St Thomas, built by the cruiselines to force people to pass through the vendors in the buildings.

And far from everything to facilitate impulse buys.

 

RCCL has a similar setup at the International Pier next door.

Looks like my cruise in Sept 2014 on CB will dock at Puerta Maya. Oh well, town isn't all that far and worth the cab fare.

So hard to know in advance. Where a ship normally docks and is scheduled to dock can change. You never really know FOR SURE until you get there. :o

Puerta Maya has a very nice shopping area. Was just there in June, and we were impressed. Very clean and pleasant, and the shop people were not at all pushy.

 

At Puerta Langosta a few years ago, they were so pushy they were offensive. They would follow you down the street trying to get you into their shops, even after being told politely "no thanks".
