Rafts at Grand Stirrup Cay?

Was wondering if anyone knows if Grand Stirrup Cay has rafts to float around on in the water or if I should bring my own? In all the pics I have seen - I do not see anyone in the water on one. Are they allowed?

We brought our own on Bermuda Cruise and it was great we just left them there when we were done.

Great stirrup cay has big round floats you can rent as well as snorkel gear. I can' remember the cost but it wasn't real expensive.

They do have float mats that you can rent (we had 4 of them in our Cabana).

My recollection is that it was $10 to rent the float mats. I also remember that when I was there it was too windy and they would not rent out the big round floats because they said it was unsafe.

I am heading to the Bahamas including GSC in Dec. Are you allowed to bring your own flotation things?? I got a big round tube at Family Dollar and wanted to bring that.

Absolutely do bring your own!

First time at gsc I rented their big uncomfortable monstrosities

Second time brought 2 cheap unopened discount store ones

Fully expected to just leave them behind but we were easily able to fold them up again

Bring your own!!!!!!

Thank you all for your input. :)

I noticed someone said they had a cabana - how do you go about getting one? Do u reserve them ahead of time or when u get there and how much are they?

Look on myncl.com and look under shore excursions. If you want them, definitely get them asap - they go quickly.

This is what you'll see when you sign in. You prepurchase just like a shore excursion. We loved ours - split between 10 of us in a large one. They are further down the beach.

You may reserve them as any other excursion but they do sell out quickly so getting one online is recommended (they hold a few to be sold onboard so if you don't get one online go to the ShoreEx desk as soon as you board to check availability). I preferred the small Cabana because there are no stairs involved. The price changes by ship and sailing, we paid $299 for our small Cabana in May. The Cabana comes with free bottled water, chips and salsa and a $50 food/beverage credit. When you get to your cabin you should have a menu for the Cabana where you choose what you want and drop it off at the ShorEx desk. We got a bottle of rum with our credit and when we were there they were out of small bottles of Pepsi so they gave us a 2 liter bottle. We were allowed to bring the unused rum back to the ship.
