Spirit class ship stateroom 7299

We had this cabin on the Spirit. It was a great cabin and I wish we could book it again! It is right behind the elevator but you never hear any noise at all from the elevator, not even a ding! People were talking in the halls occ., but that can be heard anywhere. It was so convenient, just had to go up to deck 9 for the buffet, iced tea, pizza, ice cream, etc.

The balcony is larger and longer, definitely a plus. You are over the lifeboats, but several decks up, so the view is not really obstructed. You can see the location better on http://www.cruisedeckplans.com

Hi there,

We had this stateroom on our cruise on Spirit in August 2014. I have written a review on our cruise including more info on the stateroom if you would like to have a read. Here is some very brief info for you & have attached a couple of pics, sorry, unfortunately the photos aren't really the best, I took them in a hurry when we first got into the room. :D

Ship - Carnival Spirit

Deck - 7

Stateroom # - 7299

Stateroom Category – Premium Balcony (Cat 9B)

Starboard or Port Side - Starboard

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Very quiet stateroom. Between 2 decks of staterooms, no problem with noise, even being next to elevators. Sometimes heard people passing by our door but no issues with this.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – The view was largely unobstructed but as this stateroom was in the aft 'recession' of the ship, the staterooms stepped out a little both forward and aft but this didn't detract from the view.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal for class, had 1 x lounger and 2 x chairs + table on the balcony.

Was wind a problem? - It was quite sheltered due to being recessed into the ship a little but our cruise didn't have great weather so it was windy when we were underway.

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A

Any specific problems with this cabin? - No, not at all.

Any other comments? - We would certainly book this cabin again, it was great value for money and plenty of space, especially for 2 people!
