Embassy suites Fort Lauderdale Evening Reception

At every Embassy we've stayed at, we simply order room service to the Atrium. We get about 3-5 hot apps and cocktail hour is complete.

Why do you have to order it through roomservice when the bar they use for happy hour shares space with their restaurant ...Just order off the menu when you sit down .

Internet charges probably only relate to people with notebooks. Most people have their other devices on 3G. I guess I haven't gotten there yet.

I just use the free internet in the lobby/atrium or actually many times just use their computers in the business center....and still get my snacks ;)

I've never been to an Embassy that uses their restaurant bar as the happy hour bar. The ones I've been to utilize the atrium where the breakfast is served and the "bar" is where they make the omelettes. That's why.

Have stayed in many Embassy Suites- probably over 100. There are many different ways for them to do their manager's reception, breakfast and food service during the manager's reception. I even seen one that takes over the restaurant next door for their breakfast, as that restaurant is not open for breakfast.
