Cab fare from Hyatt Place

DH and I will be staying at Hyatt Place 17th Street Convention Center. Could someone tell me how much cab fare from the hotel to Port Everglades will run including a tip?

Should be about $15 including tip, depending on traffic.

We managed to fit four of us plus luggage and the cost with tip was $15.

Yes...many think of it as 17th Street...since it sits just behind Embassy Suites and next to the Publix shopping center ;)

They run a shuttle to the port for $7 each..... just ask at the front desk.

Sometimes it is better to take a shuttle to the port rather than a taxi. This past Oct. DW and I were on the first cruise after a TA cruise and there was about a 30 minute wait because of the traffic jam that resulted due to late boarding. Last year security was very tight and everyone had to produce ID and cruise tickets causing delays. Taxi waiting time can add up!
