Regal and Caribbean Princess both leave FLL on Nov 6

How far in advance will it be known which ship will dock at Pier 2 and which will dock at a different one? Does Princess use Pier 2 and Pier 21?

Princess uses dock 2, 4 and 21 in Port Everglades. Based on previous experiences, Regal Princess will most likely dock at pier 2. CB will dock at 4 if the terminal construction is complete, otherwise, pier 21 would be most likely as an alternate.

I'm so excited! I get off of the Royal on 11/4 and board the CB on 11/6. Originally I was going to book the Regal, but the CB was less money for an added day. Had I only known! I'm hoping to be able to see some of the festivities from my balcony at the Embassy Suites, and also hoping that we are docked next to the Regal.

I would think the Regal will get #2. Its inaugural time and that termminal can handle any issues better. Who knows.

29 is why there is cancel-for-any-reason insurance.

The Regal will definitely be at #2 and if they intend to use #4, someone's got to get their act together a lot better than they are doing at present.

Here's a picture I took in 2012 with three Princess Cruises ships in Port Everglades (Fort Lauderdale) using the aforementioned berths. There were eight ships in port that day, the MSC ship was docked at Berth 4:

Looking at cruisetimetables there are only three cruise ships in on Nov. 6th: Regal Princess, Caribbean Princess, and Vision of the Seas.

 

Best guess is that Regal Princess will most definitely be at Terminal 2, Caribbean Princess at Terminal 21 (where you see Grand Princess in the above picture, 3rd ship from the left), and Vision of the Seas somewhere out of the way. ;)
