OfTheSeasCruiser Posted August 20, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 20, 2014 Considering a Quantum of the Seas cruise that stops in CocoCay next year in early April. What are the chances of missing CocoCay due to weather at that time of year? What is your experience?
Typhoon1 Posted August 20, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 20, 2014 The miss rate for all private islands is estimated to be 20%. The odds are actually in your favor.
cb at sea Posted August 22, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 22, 2014 We cruise in the spring, and have never missed...just depends on the weather that day!

Sadly we were in the 20% last November and missed the stop due to higher than usual winds and choppy seas. It would have been our first visit to this location. I look at it this way . . . gives me excuse to book another cruise.
