Sky Ride Sold Out?

Cruising in October 2014. We always like to start our day on STT with the Sky Ride to Paradise Point -- great views!

 

Went to book today and it is not even listed for the port, although it was listed as an excursion when I checked few weeks ago. I didn't think it could be sold out, since it is basically come/go on your own schedule throughout the day. Then I wondered maybe it has been shut down?

 

I will check once onboard the ship, but curious -- any information or insights? TIA

Do you have to book thru the cruise line, or cant you just get tickets at the sky ride? Is there a price difference?

Since September and October are slow, they may be closing temporarily for maintenance and construction projects. Keep checking to see if it comes back again.

 

The tickets were at one point cheaper on the ship, but someone said price was the same last month on her ship. Price may be $21 pp for the sky ride.

I just check after reading this post, Our Sept 29 visit is missing also. It was there last week.

I do know you can take a cab to the top for $7 pp

I just checked our Dec 16 visit on RCCL and "Skyride to Paradise Point" is available as an excursion ($24 Adult / $14 Child), so it sounds like it is a temporary thing.

I think the ride is really a rip off. For about the same price one can take a 3+ hr. tour in a taxi and see so much more of the island including Mountain Top.
