Oliver Wilson Posted August 23, 2014 #4 Share Posted August 23, 2014 Western Caribbean out of Houston departs Dec 28. She'll be in either Roatan or Belize that day. My first a Princess cruise - will we like the ship? Sent from my iPad using Cruise Critic Forums mobile app

Oliver Wilson Posted August 23, 2014 #6 Share Posted August 23, 2014 We have always liked the Emerald...no reason to think that you will not, but then again..... That was a silly question, wasn't it? We live in Houston, but have never cruised out of the Gulf. We're frequent Cunard and Celebrity cruisers but thought we'd try this for a getaway. I assumed ships sailing from Houston/Galveston were not the stars of the fleet but I could be totally wrong. It's harder than one would think to learn the ropes before trying a new line.
