new england couple Posted August 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2014 Are slippers still available on request? Sailing this Sunday to Bermuda, even the weather forecast can't dampen my enthusiasm. Joan

miched Posted August 23, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 23, 2014 I don't know if you had them before but they are extra large, one size for all. We found them to be useless. We picked up some slippers called Nuboot. They are about $10 and are made to use in the shower, by the pool as slippers and erc. They dry fast and are slip resistance so they help when getting in and out of the shower, pool and etc. Also wear them in the cabin, walking around the pool, in hotel rooms and etc. They are light, and very durable and are made of a stretch material. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
new england couple Posted August 23, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted August 23, 2014 Thank you, I agree that the slippers last spring were quite large. Will bring my own this trip, tomorrow, and will pick up the Nuboot slippers for our spring cruise. Looked on Amazon and they look great.

new england couple Posted August 23, 2014 Author #8 Share Posted August 23, 2014 You are correct. The slippers on Amazon are Nufoot. Where did you find Nuboot? Googled them but no luck.
Happy Cruiser 6143 Posted August 23, 2014 #9 Share Posted August 23, 2014 The slippers seem to be hit and miss in AQ depending on the quality of your cabin attendant. We did not get our bag of goodies on the Infinity. I had slippers already as I moved from a royal suite. They are really large!
miched Posted August 23, 2014 #10 Share Posted August 23, 2014 You are correct. The slippers on Amazon are Nufoot.Where did you find Nuboot? Googled them but no luck. You are correct they are Nufoot. They are available in many stores. We got ours at a medical supply store but since seen them at shoe, drug and other places. When sizing you want them to on the snug side as they stretch and you don't want them slipping off when in the water. There are also various styles. Hotel CA Posted August 23, 2014 #11 Share Posted August 23, 2014 I did find something called Nu Boots (spelled that way) on line but nothing called newboots or nuboots in a slipper or swim bootie. Its a mystery!!!!
CHEZMARYLOU Posted August 23, 2014 #12 Share Posted August 23, 2014 We had them on Millennium. I just use my flip flops in the cabin, at the pool, beach, etc. I only wear slippers in the winter at home. Mary Lou

I keep a pair of lightweight rubber flip flops in my carry-on bag that I use for all those purposes when traveling. Merely a difference in personal preferences as I like slippers that are open, easy to slip on and off without using hands or needing to bend down to pick them up each time to put them on. Honeybearhollow Posted August 23, 2014 #14 Share Posted August 23, 2014 I have always had slippers in AQ, but one time I had to request them. I like them and you don't have to take up space packing.
G&L in WPG Posted August 24, 2014 #15 Share Posted August 24, 2014 We have pairs of Nufoots for travelling. On longer air routes, we always remove our shoes and wear nufoots, then you are not stepping in anything you don't want to be in when using the bathroom, plus they are comfy! DottieV Posted August 24, 2014 #16 Share Posted August 24, 2014 Just came back from Summit to Bermuda this am AQ 9105. Got slippers and everything else promised except for flowers. Slippers have a special loofah insole for massage...not uncomfortable, tho. One size fits all and they were adequate. Chocolate covered cookies only 1 night. Cold tea container topped off each day, not fresh each day. Ask for ice and it will be refilled 2X a day.
A Sixth? Posted August 24, 2014 #17 Share Posted August 24, 2014 Had them this June/July on the Eclipse. I have noticed that often one needs to "ask" for many things that used to just appear automatically.
