Airport to cruise port transfer

We have booked a NCL airport to cruise port transfer in Venice. I realise that an NCL representative will meet us after baggage reclaim at Marco Polo airport and transfer us to the ship by bus/taxi/car. However, can anybody who has done this official transfer confirm if the luggage is put on the bus for us to see again outside the cabin and for us to simply go through the embarkation procedures when arriving at the cruise port.I did send an E-mail to NCL but they did not fully understand my question

I would never assume that what happened one week or one transfer or one ship would happen on the next.

 

Either it will go all the way through, or you will gather you luggage at the port and hand it over. Not really much you can do about it now anyways.

I would expect that when you check in with the NCL Rep at the Marco Polo

airport that you would have all of your worldly baggage with you and that

the checked baggage would be transported in the same vehicle with you

to the ship. The checked baggage would be offloaded and transferred to

the ship to wind up at your cabin door sometime in the near future.

Your carry ons and personal stuff you would take this with you to registration

and security and board the ship.

The BIG ? ask questions about what happens at every point along the line.

Is my baggage going with me on the motor coach taxi private limo ?

If not what ?

At the ship are the porters taking my checked baggage on board the ship ?

Or do I have to do it ?

Tip the porters for better results ?

Questions ask them - get language difficulties squared away !

 

Judging from the CC comments threads and posts here not much goes awry.

 

But in any event fire away with those questions ?
