Can anyone tell me please if it is worth doing an upgrade from 1C to 1B.?

Many Thanks

1) What ship?

2) What cabin do you have now? What cabin would the 1B cabin be?

3) And of course, the most important question, how much $$?

We have a 1C balcony ...on deck 8

and looking at the ship it would be the same deck ... or deck 9

Eclipse

and have been offered it as a free upgrade with the captains membership. One Free Upgrade

With Capt Club you get the upgrade, ie: pay for the 1C, but get the 1B, pay for a 1B, but get the 1A. There will be no difference in the size ( 194 sq ft ) of the cabin. We were on deck 9 on Reflection last yr, and are on deck 8 on the Equinox this yr. One more or less level of stair to climb if you are going up or down:D But then it is one less if going the other way!

Bottom line, it depends on which location you like the best.

Location, location, location.

A 1B is going to have a better location than a 1C (midship vs far aft or fore)

Midship on the S-Class Ships is nice cause there is no Aft Elevators

As for it being a FREE Upgrade...

Ya you pay the lower rate... But it is something that all Captain Club Members are entitled to after their first Celebrity Cruise (see the Celebrity Website - Captain's Club Pg)

Now if you are getting this perk, BEFORE sailing with Celebrity... Then I'm guessing that it is a gift from your TA

Hope this helps,

Cheers!
