hellsop Posted August 31, 2014 #26 Share Posted August 31, 2014 I have read that UK residents can book with US travel agents, so you get the US perks and the US price drop rules. That is the case, but they then lose the ATOL holiday protection. RCCL may be unlikely to go out of business in two years, but who can say the same for the airline booked at the same time? MCC retired Posted August 31, 2014 #27 Share Posted August 31, 2014 The key to booking a US TA from the UK is to have a US address to use for the booking process . You may us the US TA mailing address for this. You will lose those travel protections that you have with a UK booking but will most likely save $$$ . Alohaaloha Posted August 31, 2014 #28 Share Posted August 31, 2014 We had great savings from our US TA. The British TA's just could not compete. The booking process was straightforward and professional and we will definitely be using ours again. Sent from my iPad using Forums
