Ft Lauderdale Hotel....

I tried booking there for 12/5 and said sold out. Do you know why they are not taking bookings if rooms are available?

 

No, I wish I knew because that was my first choice in hotel.

I am also sailing out of Ft. Lauderdale on 12/7. The Embassy Suites will not allow a booking for 12/5-12/7 even though there are rooms available 12/4-12/6 and 12/6-12/8.

 

Embassy Suites is avaliable on LMT for $184/nt. for 12/5 to 12/7.

We've stayed at Fairfield Inn & Springhill Suites in Dania Beach. Springhill was ok, not Fairfield. Across street from open mall stores, few restaurants.

 

We prefer Embassy Suites on 17th in Ft Lauderdale. Total Wines is about a stones throw out the back door. Many good restaurants in walking distance (we like Gilbert's) & an inexpensive cab ride to the port. Call the hotel directly for booking, much better prices than booking on line

Embassy suites is listed as a 3.5* hotel. You can tell by the photos that it is Embassy suites. Also if you call the toll free number on the website they will take a few dollars off and confirm the name of the hotel.
