Thanks girls...take another look...I posted my first Century sailing pictures tonite icon_biggrin.gif and did it all by myself too icon_biggrin.gificon_smile.gif, and I am proud of myself as well!! I never thought I could do it!!

Hi Lois!

I have not had much time for reading the boards lately but I was so excited when I logged on tonight and saw that you had posted your pictures!! They are great and to quote someone "famous"--"you look mahvelous dahling!"

I loved all the pictures AND your outfits!! icon_wink.gif I am so inspired that I may try to pin down one of my kids after the Easter weekend and to help me try to scan and post some of my pics. (Have to scan them as they are not digital!)

Meeting people on the boards is fun, but it's even more fun to be able to put a face with a name and seeing the photos brings back memories of our own cruises! Thank you so much!!

I don't have a scanner...when I had the photos developed I had them put on a disc as well...for someone who is pc challenged it was pretty easy for me to download (after help from a friend and co-worker icon_wink.gif).

The photos were taken on a disposable camera!

Lois, you are becoming a pro at that picture downloading! The 2003 photos are also great. I absolutely LOVE the blue crop pant suit - it looks beautiful on you, as well as the top/skirt ensemble in the purplish blue/black. I couldn't wear crop pants to save my life - I look ridiculous in them (I'm 5'8). You have great taste in clothes. How about I just send you some money and have you pick out a new wardrobe for me?

Hi Tamelaicon_smile.gif..thanks for the compliments.

My cruise clothes are separate from my "regular ones"...well, the formal ones anyway icon_wink.gif.

I have worn both of those outfits to work. But we can go pretty casual in my office too. (no jeans)but kahkis and well, yes, black jeans...but they are nicer. No denim jeans.

 

I can't tell you I know what it is like to be tall...I am not quite 5-4...but I thought crop pants could be worn by tall or short folks. It is the "capri" that is shorter....but you would know what looks best on you!

 

Anyway....hope everyone is having a good weekend icon_biggrin.gif

HI Lois,

 

I'm flattered you noticed I was gone. Went to Paris for a week to see friends and have a Parisian Passover and hoped to do some shopping for my next cruise there.

The dollar is so weak against the euro it was awful! All I bought is a cotton scarf and some Petite Bateau tee shirts. Prices are much better here in the states. But hey, April in Paris......I can't complain! icon_wink.gif

 

Keep posting us photo's from your cruises. I love seeing the pix of the ships and ports and of course, how great you look in your fabulous fashion finds! icon_smile.gif

 

If I get technically savvy enough, I'll post some from my upcoming Baltic cruise in June.

I have never been to Paris......I could go..but then I would have to give up a cruise!....maybe one day I will be able to afford both icon_biggrin.gif

And I had help with all those pictures!...A friend from work helped me post 2 out of 3 cruises..then I was ok to post the 3rd one of my own icon_smile.gif

Hi Lois,

I stay with friends in Paris, and I had a big fat credit with one of the airlines that had to be used up. So, other than incidentals, my trip was free. I love that city and hope you get to go there one of these days......and of course you can upload the photo's of that trip for us!

 

I looked at some of your photo's again and they really are terrific. Thanks for going through all that trouble.

The one multi-colored top...is a beautiful silk patchwork jacket..not sure I have a striped top?...unless my memory is fading icon_eek.gif.
