SummerXU Posted September 11, 2014 #26 Share Posted September 11, 2014 I agree!! YES! This, please! I fell in love with the huevos rancheros on the Miracle in May. Since I'll be on the Breeze in 10 days and they have the huevos rancheros at Blue Iguana, I might branch out and try something else at brunch....maybe the steak and eggs or mac & cheese. michigyrl Posted September 11, 2014 #30 Share Posted September 11, 2014 (edited) Silly question...are their plates cooked as ordered? I hate runny egg yokes. Would love to try the huevos rancheros, but even the sight of the runny yokes in the pic makes my stomach turn. Would also love to try the eggs benedict, but I FEAR the runny yokes!! :D Can we order them cooked well or hard? ETA: 5 cruises so far on Carnival and I have yet to try their brunch! I might have to check it out on the Christmas cruise! Edited September 11, 2014 by michigyrl

shukapaw Posted September 11, 2014 #37 Share Posted September 11, 2014 I'm not an egg kinda guy so that often limits my breakfast/brunch selections. My wife does love the steak and eggs! I've tried: The cheerios-encrusted french toast (don't waste your time) The Mac and Cheese (very nice... who doesn't like Mac and Cheese?) Blueberry pancakes (mighty tasty) I'm so glad a couple others mentioned the banana cream pie. This is outstanding! The only problem we had was getting somebody to take our dessert order. It seemed as though once your food was served, you were forgotten. This happened during all 3 of our brunch outings last time. Service was good until you got your meal then pretty much non-existent after that. Oh yeah, Brunch is the meal where you can redeem your free drink coupon too! BigRed93 Posted September 11, 2014 #39 Share Posted September 11, 2014 Do I see hash brown "nuggets"? No freshly prepared hash browns? Those aren't hash browns, they are little fried cheese balls I don't remember there being hash browns. The fried potatoes came out as curly fries or French fry type things. But I like the huevos rancheros. Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app

Rare CruisinCrow Posted September 11, 2014 #42 Share Posted September 11, 2014 where is the sea day brunch? It's in one of the main dining rooms. On Victory, it was in the Pacific Dining Room. On Sensation, it was in the Fantasy Dining Room.

Rare alrichards4003 Posted September 12, 2014 #49 Share Posted September 12, 2014 Eggs benedict is one of my favorites if the eggs are not runny. I like the cheese grits. I have been trying to branch out. The pork chop with gorgonzola cream and chicken quesadilla are also good as was the steak and eggs. For lunch I have only tried ceaser salad and mac and cheese and both were good. image by alrichards4003, on Flickr image by alrichards4003, on Flickr image by alrichards4003, on Flickr image by alrichards4003, on Flickr image by alrichards4003, on Flickr
samiam0403 Posted September 12, 2014 #50 Share Posted September 12, 2014 I love the sea day brunch on Carnival! I was actually disappointed to only have one sea day on our cruise last week because I wanted the steak and eggs and the huevos rancheros, but no way I could eat them both in one morning. :D But I did have the cheesecake for dessert after my breakfast, and it was delicious. Way better than any cheesecake I ever had after dinner in the MDR. I sure could use a piece right now! :p
