Bases5 Posted September 18, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 18, 2014 It's has been several years since we have flown. I take a c-pap with me. When going through security i used to pull the motor side out of the carry bag and place it in it's own bin. I was wondering if this is still the procedure? Also I now carry a extension cord in the same bag, Are these allowed?
hawk/hornfan Posted September 18, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 18, 2014 I do not fly a lot , but my wife and I both have C-PAPS! If is a short trip we put both machines in one bag to carry them on. Yes you do have to pull them out, extension cords are allowed. If it is a long trip, meaning we are checking luggage, we pack them in our checked luggage. Never a problem. 6rugrats Posted September 19, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 19, 2014 I would not recommend packing any type of medical equipment in a checked bag.
