Changing elite mini bar for coffee cards

I know you can change you elite mini bar for 2 coffee cards but who do you inform when you arrive in your cabin do you tell cabin steward or ring room service.

Yes it is room service. If you were to ask your room steward he would ask you to call room service.

As soon as I arrive in my cabin, I call room service and ask that they switch out by bar service for coffee cards. When I do a b2b, I always inform room service a day before the

new cruise to just bring me coffee cards.

FYI - All of the beverages are removed, including tonic water and sodas.

I don't imbibe alcohol, but I would have liked if they had left the non-alcohol beverages.

 

An option to take only the-alcohol beverages and leave one coffee card would work for me.

FYI - They take all the beverages. I'd like an option to swap the alcohol drinks for one coffee card, but leave the sodas and tonic water.

We do the same thing & they appreciate telling them in advance on b2b cruises so they don't have to bring a setup to exchange for coffee cards.
