WOW! Prices going up!?

Started researching and attempted to book our annual Easter voyage. We alternate between Eastern/Western and Allure/Oasis every year. Spoke w. customer service tonight and our cruise for 5 has gone up over 3 thousand dollars since last year!? What's going on? I thought that with all the interest in the new ships, the price would go down - or at the very least remain status quo. :mad:

It's a good reason to go ahead and book when you see a cruise you like and have the opportunity to select a cabin in the location you want rather than having to take what's left.

Yes, prices can go up so no need to wait hoping they'll go down. ;)

yes, I noticed that today too. I always book well in advance and re-price when necessary.

I agree. Its just gone back to normal! Book super early and get a good deal and better cabin location choice or during a sale and get a slight reduction or OBC benefit or just take your chances on a really late booking for a super cheap rate on a cruise thats not full or not filling up quick enough because its off season.

 

This time last year one Australian Dollar was getting $1.08c USA Today one Australian dollar is buying $0.87c so you guys are back "In The Money" and costs are up because they can be:)
