Transportation from Miami Airport

Which is more economical for transportation from Miami Airport to Holiday Inn Port of Miami for two people--Taxi or Airport Shuttle Service?

Taxi! On the meter, so traffic will play a minor factor, but figure about $25-27+tip. The ride takes about 15 minutes.

taxi is your best bet

 

a taxi is paid per car and a shuttle is per person .... for a short ride like this a shuttle is seldom better cost .... it took me a long time and a lot of dollars to learn this BTW

 

from the MIA ground transportation web page I see that the estimated cost for a taxi to a downtown hotel is $21.70 while SuperShuttle is $15 for the first person and $10 for additional persons to the same location ... aka $25 for 2

{both would expect a tip BTW}

Taxi or a good deal on a one way rental for $40 (drop off locations for Sixt and I think Hertz within 3 minutes walking distance of your hotel) if you have plans for the day.
