GAH! Only three days to go!

And I still have to do laundry and pack, and get a mani/pedi, among other little errands! I'm stressing out so bad right now, it's not even funny. And I'm STILL hitting the shops looking for last minutes things that I feel like I just HAVE to have.

This is my second cruise, and I feel even more disorganized this year than I did last year. It's like everything is just piling on at the last minute this time. Maybe it's because I know more of what to expect this time around, but still, it has me in a tizzy! [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif[/img]

That sounds normal to me. The week before even though I have everything done right down to the packing list Is a big stress. Katie, Which ship are you going on? I leave Sunday on the RCCL Explorer! I understand your stress! Last Sunday Hubby and I went to the Mall so I could find a pair of casual Navy sandles. We went into JC Pennys first and they had Clarks on sale...but didn't have navy in my size. The gal said no problem, I will order them and they will be in the store Tuesday, so I paid, and stopped shopping and went home. I just came back from the Mall, very disappointed!!! The gal in the Catalog dept. said it was a transfer and that it would be 7-10 days...I now have NO navy sandles, and have NO time to look for another pair!!

Talk about stress...what's worse is that I did have a pair of navy sandles(I didn't like them) so I tossed them in the garbage....that was picked up this morning!! [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif[/img]

You have no idea how jealous a lot of us are right now. I have 85 more days left until I leave. I could pack up tonight and be ready in the morning, I have almost no shopping left to do. The only things left are new cufflinks and ties for the DH and DS, boring. Possibly a new outfit for my DD. I'm almost bummed that I don't have to go buy new clothes, but I have enough to go around the world from all our previous cruises.

We take several weekend trips throughout the year, so I have taken to keeping my carry on bag packed and ready all the time. It also helps me get over the cruise blues upon returning home, I feel like I'm getting ready to go again.

Get off the boards till you're done preparing, then come back to say goodbye!

Scarletine, I know what you mean. I have a job interview tomorrow along with finishing laundry and packing! I wish the clothes could pack themselves. This is my 4th cruise, and I still get frazzled.

I'm only on the boards, because I'm at work, and suffering from a terminal case of "Short-timer's disease." But thankfully, I've put in enough OT this week already, that the boss is giving me tomorrow off, and not even charging me a vacation day for it. So, I won't be on here much after today. I [B]finally[/B] found a pair of khakis that fit! That was the last thing I was looking for, so my major shopping is finally done!

Pat, we're going on the Rhapsody. We're heading down to Galveston Saturday afternoon, and staying overnight. I like doing that...makes the vacation seem that much longer...
